AFGANİSTAN-KABİL

Taliban zamanında kapalı olsalar dahi kadınların yanlarında erkekleri olmadan sokağa çıkmaları hoş karşılanmazdı
ve eli sopalı ahlak zabıtaları tarafından sokak ortasında cezalandırılırlardı.

Öyleki korku ruhlarına işlemişdi artık kadınların;
sokakda kendilerinden alakasız bir erkek gördüklerinde dahi korkup birbirlerinin arkalarına saklanır hale geldiler,
ve insan olduklarını unuttular.

Yurdumun kadınları bu hallere düşmez umarım,
Tüm kadınlarımızın Dünya Kadınlar Gününü Kutluyorum...

AFGHANISTAN-KABUL

Before 2001,
women have to veil theirselves
and even they veiled, they couldnt walk outsite without a men (husband, brother or etc.),
otherwise they were cudgeled by policemen.
So fear penetrated to their spirit,
anymore they were too fearful and mostly still they are here,
so they lost their humanity.

i hope that none of world women will have to live similar situation,
i hope this March 8 will be the start of the end for these ignorances and cruelties.

Interesting question. Looking at the history I would guess no though, mainly because they never really came under the 'Soviet sphere of influence' which is where IWD originated...

I'd be interested in the answer from someone there though.

an ordinary street and an ordinary people in street,
man doesnt know those women and women dont know that man,
but when women notice the man, they try to hide behind other women, because they are too fearful

you are definetely right,
Soviet sphere of influence was terminated here,
not just that, and also all kind of civilazation sphere of influence were terminated here :(
